Awkwafina Awkwafina, an American performer and actress, started with humorous rap tracks that dealt with issues of sexual and race. Her fame grew into Hollywood when she dropped several rap songs. The actress was born Nora Lum to Chinese and Korean immigrant parents from Forest Hills Queens her first experience with music came in the form of trumpet. She also received the classical and jazz education later delving into hip-hop as a teenager. At college, she was studying journalism and women's studies. Then, she even had a short time studying Mandarin in Beijing. She didn't start focusing on music until the time she completed her degree. Her My Vag song, My Vag which was her response to Mickey Avalons My Dick, became a viral hit via the Internet and was later featured on her debut album Yellow Ranger. On the album, there were other viral hits including Queef (body-positive) and NYC Bitchethe cost of $. The final track was connected directly to Awkwafina's NYC Travel Guide, which was released in the year 2015. Alongside having published a book and a singer, she was also a professional as a singer. Apart from early series such as Girl Code and Tawk she was also featured in movies such as Neighbors 2. Storks as well as Bad Rap.
