Awkwafina Awkwafina, an American performer and actress, started with humorous rap tracks that dealt with issues of sexual and race. Her fame grew into Hollywood when she dropped several rap songs. The actress was born Nora Lum to Chinese and Korean immigrant parents from Forest Hills Queens her first experience with music came in the form of trumpet. She also received the classical and jazz education later delving into hip-hop as a teenager. At college, she was studying journalism and women's studies. Apart from early series such as Girl Code and Tawk she was also featured in movies such as Neighbors 2. Storks as well as Bad Rap. In the year 2018 she got a series of notable performances, which included Dude Ocean 8 and Crazy Rich Asians. In June, she debuted her EP "In Fina We Trust".
